"DREAMS WITHIN" PERFORMANCE
As you can see, we went through Adventureland pretty quickly for two big reasons. The first was that we were getting really hungry, and secondly we were trying to make it in time to catch the "Dreams Within" show which is a specially held performance for the 25th Anniversary celebration of Tokyo Disneyland!Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of the food we bought before the show because we were rushing! We each bought some hot soup (Amy had curry meatball soup, I had creamy sweet corn soup) which came with bread rolls. Perfect, really yummy winter food for the cold chilly weather that had rolled in. Luckily the rain had stopped!
The show was held on a stage set up in front of Cinderella's castle (the symbol of Disneyland) with all the cast of Disney present. I took tons of photos here, but am only posting a few up. We were standing pretty far away so all these photos were taken on my little digi camera at maximum optical zoom!!
"Dreams Within" was a very simple and predictable story (for adults anyway). But it had a very sweet Disney message to it, as well as LOTS of singing and dancing. Two kids (wearing red jackets below) are given the magical "key" which will help them unlock their dreams.
The Disney cast (except for Mickey Mouse) on stage celebrating giving the magical key to the children
The evil queen from Sleeping Beauty trying to steal the key from the children - Pluto running off with the key! cute!
After thinking it's all hopeless, our hero Mickey Mouse magically appears to save the day! Pluto immediately latches onto him! cute!
Mickey explains that they don't need the key! To unlock your dreams from within requires only your own ability! The two children have now transformed into a prince and princess (foreground)!
Then there is a BIG celebration and lots of music and dancing. Note the giant key in the background!!
TOON TOWN!
I wanted to visit toon town specifically to take pictures as I didn't get the opportunity the other time. I love the toon town theme, where the buildings and streets are cleverly designed to look like you've stepped right into a cartoon!!

Amy trying her hardest to steal Mickey Mouse's love letters from the Town's post box. She wasn't successful!! Looks like Mickey gets to stay with Minnie!
*Phew* after all that we got hungry again and decided to visit Huey, Dewey & Louie's Good Time Cafe!
I managed to catch Mr. Scrooge posing with a family! Oops, better not tell him I was thinking of taking over his bank!!
MINNIE'S HOUSE
MINNIE'S HOUSE
All the Mickey Mouse characters own houses in Toon Town. The line to enter Mickey's house was just too long so we decided to head to Minnie's house which was just next door anyway. Unfortunately she wasn't at home!
Minnie's backyard had the most beautiful plum/cherry tree. I'm positive it was real! Amy thought it was fake because it's a little early for the cherry blossoms to bloom!
We managed to take this great picture (me holding the camera) outside Minnie's window. No, we aren't peeping, honest!!
"JUBILATION!!" DAYTIME PARADE
Tokyo Disneyland normally holds two daytime parades and a night time 'electric' parade. During this anniversary event however, only one daytime parade was held, the other parade being substituted with the "Dreams Within" show instead.
Again, I took a lot of photos, but am only posting up a few!

Cinderella and her Prince Charming!
Beauty and the Beast, who's already turned into the prince!
The Pocahontas float. Loved the green spirit in the tree
The Winnie the Pooh float. Tigger's tail was attached to the tree and he kept bungee jumping off it!
One of the impressive lion king vehicles
The Lion King float
Peter Pan float. Captain Hook doing a merry jig on the skull. I even took one photo of him kicking in mid-air!
Lilo and Stitch float.
One of the many costumed paraders!
