Weather: Sunny 26 degrees! Perfect! (even got sunburnt a little...)

Since we had already gone to DisneyLand twice, we decided to bring S to DisneySea (which we also heard was more interesting than DisneyLand). There was the Spring Carnival on at DS which meant a few special shows throughout the day during June.
Because it's S's first time to Disney in Tokyo, we took the Mickey Mouse train (for novelty's sake).
I was quite excited seeing DS for the first time and wanted to see it overall from the train (elevated tracks, see). But we didn't manage to see DS in overall. We managed to see quite a lot of DL from the train last time though so I thought we might see DS this way too.
DS's Columbia ship (part of 'American Waterfront') from the train
There wasn't a queue to get in at all, which had us feeling optimistic (shorter queues!). We got in with no hassle at all.
Us just inside DS entrance with world globe behind us.The last time we went to DisneyLand, we got hooked on Caramel Popcorn so this time at DS, we headed straight for it. In DL, the queue was maybe 30-40 people long (bloody school holiday!). In DS, because it was a school day + weekday, there weren't many people at all! Maybe 6 people queueing? What a difference!
First things first... get Caramel Popcorn!TOWER OF TERROR
First ride (at least for S & C) was the Tower of Terror! Because everybody knows what a scaredy cat I am when height and speed are involved, it is hardly any surprise that I didn't join them. The Tower of Terror! The name alone put me off....
Chris & S, being the brave things they are, headed for it straight after popcorn. The ride itself was pretty short (maybe 1-2 minutes). There are several rooms you go through first, which explains the story of an old man who went on an expedition and returned with a cursed idol. He entered an elevator at the Hotel Hightower and the curse caused him to crash to his death... Obviously, the ride at this attraction is the 'fateful' elevator ride!
New York, 1912. Since the owner's mysterious disappearance 13 years earlier, Hotel Hightower been called the "Tower of Terror." Now, the New York City Preservation Society has finished restoring the landmark hotel and has started giving tours to the public. But what mysteries might still lie in wait within?

Chris tells me that you start off going up, up, up.... then nothing happens. After wondering why nothing is happening for quite a while, the elevator suddenly drops! And stops! And drops... and stops... and goes up.... drops... stops... etc. They loved it. This ride is recommended!
After that, we decided to hang around the 'American Waterfront' for the Fairies Primavera where Mickey and the Disney Fairies come out to woo the audience.
Not everything is on the waters, there are also star performers along the waterfront.

EnTHUUUUsiastic performers!
After getting sunburnt quite a bit, the show ended (but the music lived on in our heads... as S has often exhibited by suddenly bursting into song 'Spriiiiiing... CAAAARnivaaaaallll')
For now, please let me leave you with Part 1. There are just way too many pictures to sort through (from 3 cameras!). I shall continue Part 2 soon...
